ICELAND WELCOMES FISHERMEN
Iceland has been open and welcoming tourists from 15 June. There are of course some regulations and restrictions in place to ensure the safety of travellers and residents in light of the COVID-19 virus.
These include completing a pre travel questionnaire and the option to take a virus test on arrival in Iceland, rather than quarantine for 2 weeks, which then allows travel onto your destination whilst awaiting test results, of course visitors should follow social distancing, hand washing and other cleanliness practices as best as possible before and after those results.
Visitors will also be asked to download a tracking App to whilst in Iceland which will also give updates on virus matters.
For fuller details, as they currently are advised by Iceland’s Medical Directors, please see https://www.landlaeknir.is/servlet/file/store93/item41745/Passengerinfo.pdf and also visit www.covid.is We will update travel news regularly.
