PRIME SEASON STARTS

The final days of June have been very encouraging with clearly good numbers of salmon already in the East Ranga system. We have seen coloured water some days, due to snow melt and flooding in small tributaries, but generally now the river is clearing and showing the fishers what it holds! The lodge team welcomed first guests yesterday and a delicious dinner was followed by a glass or two to celebrate the season to come. The first reports from the first this morning’s fishing are of some cracking multi sea winter fish including this beauty of 98cm .
