A TRULY GREAT WEEK

This has been a staggering weeks’ fishing. Great conditions and very strong runs of fresh fish resulted in 503 salmon being landed by an average of 14 rods. Just as interesting is the quality and health of the returning salmon - clearly the feeding at sea has been excellent and the grilse and multi sea winter salmon are in immaculate condition.

The salmon are spreading throughout the river already with, for example, beat 7 and beat 3 providing equally hectic action and a further highlight is the number of fish being landed measuring above 80cm, lets hope they keep coming over the next weeks!
