RECORD JULY RUN?

The truth is we just don’t know why so many fish are running at this time. To land 900 Atlantic salmon is a week is not normal, and may never happen again on the river. But happen it did these past 7 days, and what sport it has been - Head Guide Gunnar has spent many a late evening hour filling in the catch book!

It is impossible to select highlights on the river, so I would like to highlight the ‘engine room’ behind the fishery - the lodge team led by Alicja and Lenka. Their teams’ focus on friendly, relaxed and professional service, and the delicious food produced by our chef Gina, have matched the highlights on the river.

Lets see what happens next - we all know it is possible that the current run will not sustain - but lets enjoy the moment as seeing this many fat, healthy salmon has been something to behold.
